Skiboard for ski areas
Skiboard helps people in Switzerland choose a ski area for a Saturday or Sunday. This page is for ski areas and lift operators: how the ranking works, what every area gets for free, and the one thing you can pay for.
How Skiboard ranks ski areas
For the coming weekend, Skiboard ranks ski areas by travel time from the visitor’s city by car or train, the MeteoSwiss weather forecast, snow measured at nearby SLF stations, and the visitor’s own style (family, steep slopes, freeride, a large area). An area is ranked only with snow measured nearby or on a day its operator says its season runs, and never before the day its operator says it opens. Every score shows where its data comes from.
The ranking cannot be bought. No payment, partnership or partner link changes an area’s score or its place in the list.
Free for every area: correct your data
If your area’s opening dates, piste map or links are wrong or missing on Skiboard, send us the correct information with a source, such as your website or a press release. We correct it free of charge, for every area, partner or not.
Partner notice for the season, November to April
A clearly labelled partner box on your area’s page on Skiboard, with your current offer (for example a ski pass deal or an event) and one link.
