Glacier ski resorts in Switzerland

A Swiss glacier ski area is height insurance, not a personality type. Zermatt and Saas-Fee hold snow when March rains on the Plateau. Engelberg and Glacier 3000 are closer to the cities. Crevasse terrain is not a blue run; stay on the marked glacier pistes unless you are equipped and guided.

Is there still summer skiing in Switzerland?
Treat summer skiing as exceptional and operator-specific, not as a season you can plan in May. Glacier winter skiing remains the reliable use of these areas. Check the operator; do not trust an old guidebook.
